A new 8 acre park for the Town of Erie will have the residence enjoying all types of activities. A big grass area and basketball court for sports and custom playgrounds for the kids. The town decided to make this park special by designing custom play pieces and custom shelters complimented with colored pattern concrete and a solar summit climbing hill with an engraved sun dial at the top. Other features include a stainless steel sphere, slackline balance cable and to top off these exciting features fiber optic lights will shine through the concrete in a radiating pattern.

This 150 feet long existing three celled culvert contained an existing 9 ft. by 12 ft. CMP Pipe that was sandwiched between two concrete box culverts. This project was to remove that pipe and install a new concrete box culvert in its place. To continue Aurora's extensive trail system a new connection will be made through the Toll Creek corridor. One mile of a concrete trail will be installed through the existing residential area to Toll Creek where a 220 LF bridge was built to connect to the other side. Using a concrete center pier in the middle of Toll Creek extensive dewatering and shoring was necessary to get this 54" caisson out of the ground. To add to this difficult project an "Air Bridge" had to be designed and built over two gas lines so that the concrete trucks, crane and bridge transport does not do any damage.

Improving traffic flow at Colorado Blvd. & 120th St. the entire intersection was widened to accommodate new turn lanes. All existing traffic lights, utilities, perimeter concrete and landscape was modified or replaced with new.
