Majestic View Park

Taking the past and turning it into the future this Historic Farm in Arvada will be transformed into an enjoyable recreational space. A new concrete trail will connect the extensive trail system around Majestic View Park to this area while the adjacent pasture will be changed into a natural parking area. Renovation of the Farm's unique structures will include repairing the flagstone patio and outdoor fireplace and fixing the nature stone walls to eliminate the deterioration. New landscape and irrigation will round out this new face lift.

Armed Forces Tribute Garden

Honoring our men and women of the armed forces a new plaza, water feature, and center sculpture was designed. In the center a three-tiered water fountain faced with limestone and accented with lighting and a bronze statue was the focal point. Radiating out from there six arms of decorative brick pavers tied together the six granite memorial columns and sculptures representing the six divisions of the armed services. For better access a 150 foot bridge tied parking and plaza together then flagpoles, seating areas, lighting, and landscape completed this unique space.

Putting new life into an aged plaza a complete renovation of a commercial space sandwiched between 3 office buildings started with the complete demolition of all concrete and landscape. New concrete walks, sitting areas, updated site furnishings, lighting and landscape were then designed for a new look.

Barnum Elementary School

Using a learn with fun concept this Denver Public School is replacing their entire playground with new educational activities. Plain asphalt is turned into maps or the world and number games. Concrete is sandblasted and stained with letters, work puzzles and educational phrases. Site furnishings are used for checker tables and specialty metal architectural elements are designed to give the school a unique quality.

Norlin Library

Both form and function followed in this design for a new campus plaza. To improve the surrounding drainage permeable pavers were installed over 18" of gravel. Drainage piping buried beneath carry the storm water away into the existing sanitary system. Then water was used above the ground with a new fountain feature accenting this plaza. Completing this upgrade new lighting, sitting areas and landscape was installed.

Gateway Sign
